What we keep. What we don't.

Short version: we keep your game so you can play it, we count visits so we can make it better, and we never sell any of it.

    What we keep

    If you make an account, we store your email, your handle, and your game: the cards you played, your before and after ratings, your notes, and your settings. Forms you send us (updates list, card ideas, feedback) are stored too. All of it lives in our database at Convex, a US cloud database company.

    Email

    We send email through Resend: password-reset codes, a welcome note, and nightly reminders only if you turn them on. Every reminder says how to turn it off.

    Google Analytics

    We use Google Analytics to count visits and see where people get stuck, like how many people who draw a card go on to play it. It sets cookies and sees things like your browser, rough location, and pages viewed. We do not send it your email or handle.

    Meta Pixel

    We use the Meta Pixel so we can measure ads on Facebook and Instagram. It sees page views, which card page you looked at, and whether you signed up or joined the updates list. It never gets your ratings, notes, fears, email, or handle. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the Meta Pixel does not load at all.

    What we never do

    We do not sell your data. We do not share your game data with advertisers. Your league shows only your handle, rank, and counts, and you can hide yourself from leagues under You.

    Your controls

    In the app, under You, you can download everything we have about you as a file, or delete your account. Deleting removes your account, your game, and your sessions for good.

    Cookies and storage

    The app keeps you logged in with a token in your browser's local storage. Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel set their own cookies. You can block or clear them in your browser, and the game still works.

    Kids

    This site is for adults. Some cards happen in bars. Please don't use it if you are under 18.
